Vesper
A Mac browser that gives each part of your day its own space, and dims when the sun goes down.

Why it exists
I wanted one browser to live in all day, with work, reading and the rest each in a space of its own, that felt as native as the Mac around it.
What it does
- Each space keeps its own tabs and one of eight colors. Swipe with two fingers and you slide to the next space, its pages live the whole way.
- Option-click a link and it opens in Glance, a card over the page you're on, so you can look without losing your place. Or pair two tabs in split view and drag the divider where you want it.
- Night comes to the whole window, pages included. Every color has a day value and a night value, and Vesper follows the Mac when it switches to Dark.
Under the hood
Vesper is native all the way down: AppKit around Apple's WebKit, SwiftUI for the sidebar and command bar, and Swift 6 with zero warnings. Updates wait their turn. A new build sits beside the running app until I click Restart to Update, so my tabs and sign-ins never drop in the middle of the day.
What I learned
Before writing a browser, I tested whether swiping between spaces could feel smooth in a real Mac window. Moving the live page instead of a picture of it held every frame, so I built the whole browser on that.
